A 170g ribboned bag of Quaranta’s soft nougat bites with forest fruits. Quaranta make theirs the soft, chewy way rather than as a hard, brittle torrone, to an old family recipe using whole nuts and no preservatives, and the forest fruits version adds a sharp, fruity note to the honeyed nougat.
Quaranta is a family nougat maker founded in 1924 in Caravaggio, near Bergamo in Lombardy, not far from Milan, and still works from the recipe of its founder Antonio Quaranta. The company celebrated its centenary in 2024, and is known for its soft torrone, which is lighter and more yielding than the hard, snappy kind.
