Almondeli is a small family-run company that grows and roasts authentic Mediterranean almonds. They grow with the utmost care, dedication and passion, 300 ha of almond trees of various types, including Marcona, Valencia and Largueta. The estate has been owned and operated by their family for six generations. They are committed to sustainable agriculture and the use of traditional methods in order to produce almonds of exceptionally high quality. Marcona almonds are a true delicacy. The trees only grow along the Mediterranean coast of Spain in nutrient poor, arid soil. The taste is sweet and buttery with a crisp, crunchy texture. They are traditionally served after being fried in sunflower oil and sprinkled with sea salt. They are a perfect cheese accompaniment. Valencia almonds mainly grow in the Mediterranean region of Valencia and are wonderfully sweet and delicate in taste. A delicious snack whether raw, fried and salted, toasted or caramelized.
