Salted Caramel Rabitos Fig Bonbons (9) online.
Spain produces a flavoursome, thin skinned variety of fig called Pajarero used by La Higuera to create these highly prized chocolates. These fruits create the perfect medium to carry the rich flavours of the silky milk chocolate salted caramel truffle filling and the smooth milk chocolate coating.
Since 1989, the family company of La Higuera has been making fig and chocolate products using the local calabacita or pajarero figs. Based in the village of Almoharín in Caceres, they focus on the production of just two types of fig and chocolate sweets.
Best enjoyed at room temperature accompanied by a chilled PX sweet wine or an espresso for an afternoon pick-me-up.

The salted caramel fig bonbons are created when each little fig is stuffed with a rich mousse of salted caramel and milk chocolate. Then they are hand dipped in even more rich milk chocolate! Finally each bonbon is individually sealed in a gold foil envelope. Opening each envelope is a celebration as you anticipate the first delectable bite!
Each attractive box holds nine bonbons.
