Open since 2010, having run a stall at North West Food Festivals for two years, Lunya is Liverpool’s multi-award winning deli, restaurant and bar. Lunya Liverpool is a Catalan inspired deli, bar and restaurant in the fabulous Liverpool One, in a beautiful, fully accessible, ground floor site on the corner of Hanover Street and College Lane – delivering the best of Catalan and Spanish food across the UK and beyond.
We have won numerous awards including the Good Food Guide’s North West Restaurant of the Year for 2015 & 2016. Where it all started, Lunya Liverpool is a labour of love for owners, Peter & Elaine Kinsella. Come and have a drink in our beautiful bar surrounded by hanging hams and Catalan artwork, buy one of our amazing products in our visually stunning deli or dine in our extensive and sumptuous 130 cover dining room. Always, our most eagerly awaited events. We are delighted to present the superb wines from Bodegas Raices Ibericas of Aragon. A cooperative of innovative winemakers working with some of Spain's iconic and indigenous grape varieties, and producing wines of exceptional character and quality. This night will be jointly hosted by Sebastien Richard of Bodegas Raices Ibericas and Peter Kinsella. Sebastien will enthral you with tales of the wine-making and the fabulous work that the Bodega does; Peter will be his usual exuberant self introducing the food and letting you into some of our restaurant secrets. It promises to be a wonderful night. 6 stunning wines, impeccably paired with 6 glorious gourmet dishes representing the very best of Spanish gastronomy, from our Executive Chef, Dave Upson.

Back by very popular demand; always our most popular quiz and a guaranteed fund and raucous night. Our legendary quizzes have proved hugely popular for over 10 years. This one is on Friday 27th September 2024 at Lunyalita. Food and drink to taste and answer questions on; live music round with 10 songs (Abba hits) played flamenco style and a great all-round party atmosphere. Come in your best Abba gear for extra prizes, sing along, dance along and show us your moves. This is a great party night. Get a group of friends, family or work colleagues together for the best quiz night going.

Some of the very best Spanish food comes out of tins, jars and packets with their world famous Conservas industry. We have put together a really fabulous menu where you get to try the very best of it over 6 courses, all matched with some out of this world drinks including wine, sherry & vermouth. We draw upon products from Gueyumar, Pujado Solano, El Navarrico, Nardin, Ortiz, El Valle, Baturrica and many more. Peter, Tom (our Director of Operations) and Dave (our Executive Head Chef) have put together a really exquisite menu and will guide you through on the night. Just £65 a place.
