Grandma Wild’s is a Yorkshire family bakery now in its fourth generation. Annie Wild started the original Wild’s Bakery around 1899 in Morecambe, Lancashire, running the bakery shop and a boarding house while raising three sons. Her eldest son John moved the business to Haworth in Yorkshire in the 1920s, and since 2000 the family has baked in Steeton, West Yorkshire, still using many of Annie’s recipes and tray baking the biscuits in the traditional way.
A lovely stocking filler or a small present for a bus or London lover, and the tin is well worth keeping for the decorations box afterwards.
