Part of Majani’s fruit and chocolate range, this pairs sweet strawberry with chocolate – one of the great combinations. A small 35g pack, just the right size for a stocking or a treat with coffee.
Majani opened in Bologna in 1796 and is still one of the most respected names in Italian chocolate. It makes its chocolate from the raw bean in-house, and in 1832 it produced Scorza, the crumbly dark chocolate stick that was the first solid chocolate sold in Italy. Majani’s most famous creation came in 1911, when it won Fiat’s competition to make a chocolate for the launch of the Tipo 4 car with the Cremino Fiat, still made today.
Good to have a few of in the cupboard over Christmas, or to tuck into a hamper alongside some Majani cremini.
