A newer addition to the Fiasconaro panettone range, made using the same slow-leavened sourdough method as the rest of the collection but enriched with delicate candied apples and a warm scent of cinnamon, rather than the usual raisins or candied citrus. Soft, fragrant and moist, it takes nearly four days to make.
It is made by the Fiasconaro brothers in Sicily, a family-owned artisan bakery now run by the third generation, who still follow the traditions of their father and grandfather.
Good for breakfast, or with a glass of prosecco or dessert wine after dinner.
