Make your own patatas bravas at home! Winner of a gold medal in this year’s Great Taste Awards and the 2012 awards too! This is a smooth, fiery, smoky tomato and red pepper sauce which originated in Madrid. Classically served with ‘Patatas Bravas’, fried potato cubes with Brava sauce; but it is also served with barbequed and roasted meats and vegetables. It is made using tomatoes and piquillo peppers, onion, garlic, smoked hot paprika and cayenne pepper, extra virgin olive oil and wine vinegar – nothing artificial added! The judges said: ‘Gorgeous colour and zingy aroma, packed with flavour and beautifully balanced…would be very good with Patatas Bravas’.
