Founded by the Sniff brothers in 1993. Over the years, the company managed to become one of the largest producers of Denominacion de Origen Sidra de Asturias cider, its own plantings of apple trees occupy 23 hectares and another 17 hectares are leased. On the plots, 8 varieties of apples are grown from 22 permitted, including Castiello, Gobernador, Oles, San Justo and Viadi – autochthonous varieties grown only in Asturias.
Llagar de Oles is an extraordinary vinegar produced using the Orleans method. With natural oxygenation, and aged in Chestnut barrels, this vinegar is made from apple varieties selected from the harvest of their own orchards. Its moderate acidity makes it a very versatile vinegar. Considered the best Asturian cider vinegar.
Taste profile: Aromas of fruit with notes of wood, complex and balanced cider flavours with hints of butterscotch.
Perfect to be used with stews, pickles, fish and all kind of salads.
