This is a 110g ballotin, a ribboned gift box of loose chocolates, filled with an assortment of Holdsworth’s handmade milk, dark and white chocolates, in Christmas packaging.
Holdsworth Chocolates was started in March 1988 by Barbara Holdsworth, working from a small unit in Bakewell in the Peak District, on the belief that there was a market for proper British handcrafted chocolates. The business grew steadily, and by 2006 its chocolates were being sold through John Lewis, Harrods, Selfridges and Chatsworth House. In 2014 it moved into a purpose-built factory in Bakewell to keep up with demand, and the chocolates are still hand-finished and hand-packed there today, with a growing use of renewable energy and recyclable packaging.
