A ready-wrapped gift of three La’al honeys: Wild Flower Honey, Acacia Honey and Yorkshire Heather Honey, 342g in total, with the jars ranging from 90g to 120g. It is a nice way to taste three quite different honeys side by side – a floral all-rounder, pale and mild acacia, and heather honey, the darker, more robust honey bees make from moorland heather in late summer. Each set is hand wrapped in cellophane and finished with a raffia bow.
La’al is Cumbrian dialect for small, and it is the name Hawkshead Relish give their range of little jars. The company began in 1999 in a café in Hawkshead and now makes more than 100 products near Esthwaite Water in the Lake District.
