A generous individually wrapped 165g slice of Quaranta’s soft nougat cake, this one made with four different fruits through the soft, chewy nougat, which balances the sweetness of the honey and nuts with a fresh, fruity note.
Quaranta is a family nougat maker founded in 1924 in Caravaggio, near Bergamo in Lombardy, not far from Milan, and still works from the recipe of its founder Antonio Quaranta. The company celebrated its centenary in 2024, and is known for its soft torrone, which is lighter and more yielding than the hard, snappy kind.
A lovely thing to slice thinly with coffee after dinner, and an easy stocking filler.
