This 500g panettone, made by the Fiasconaro family bakery in Sicily for Dolce & Gabbana, is filled with candied apple and warm cinnamon rather than the traditional raisins and candied citrus. It has the same light, moist, slow-leavened texture as the rest of the Fiasconaro range.
It comes in a striking, collectible Dolce & Gabbana tin, with the design varying slightly from tin to tin, making it as much a gift for the table as for eating.
Good for breakfast, or with a glass of prosecco or dessert wine after dinner.
