Paella & Sangria Tasting 20th June 2024 at Lunyalita

A first for us and something for paella lovers. We are bringing a taste of the Spanish summer to the Albert Dock. If it is a lovely warm, balmy evening we’ll be outside on the sun terrace; if not, we’ll be in our lovely upstairs dining room overlooking the dock.

You will get to try a range of different paellas including a classic Paella Valenciana, an Arroz Negro and a Fideua, plus a range of accompanying tapitas and a selection of Sangria including the classic red wine sangria, white wine sangria, cava sangria and a white wine sangria. We’ll even show you how it’s made. This will be a fabulous fun and informal night with live Spanish guitar music. Bring your dancing shows too!

Mother’s Day at Lunya and Lunyalita – 10th Match 2024

Come and celebrate with your mum on Mother's Day, 10th March. We have our regular a la carte menu running in both restaurants, together with a every special Mother's Day Tapas Banquet in Lunyalita and a chicken roast over a can of Moritz beer - served whole at the table. The choice is yours. Mother's Day is always a very special day in the restaurant, with family groups celebrating the very special place mums have. All mum's dining will receive a free gift of chocolates or biscuits from the deli. Calcotada Feast Menu, 22nd – 24th March 2024

Calcotadas are eagerly awaited throughout Catalunya. Always held in very early spring, when Calcots are at their peak. The famous long, thin onion (a bit like a leek but it isn't), char grilled and served with it's own very special sauce, similar to a Romesco sauce. It's dirty, messy and fabulous fun. We are running a Calcotada Feast menu over the weekend of 22-24th March in both restaurants. This includes grilled calcots and sauce, fuet, tomato bread, selection of grilled meats including our Moritz chicken, morcilla, chorizo and butifarra (vegan options available), salad, bread, patatas bravas, accompaniments and crema catalana, plus cava drunk from a porron. This costs only £39 per person (£25 deposit payable at the time of booking). It will be available to pre-book and run for the weekend from Friday to Sunday from 12noon until close. It is sensational value. A porron is the traditional way of drinking from medieval Catalunya, holding it high above your head and pouring from the spout into (hopefully!) your mouth
