Spain has more than 70 autochthonous grape varieties in more than 60 wine regions. Raíces is a collection of wines aimed at discovering their selection of native varieties and two iconic wines, their ‘winemaker’s blends’. They work in more than 15 wine regions, including remote areas, unpopulated villages and high-altitude vineyards, and seek to give them identity and value through our wine.
A vibrant crisp white coming from the superb and rare Albillo grape, often referred to as white Tempranillo. Crisp, citrus and zesty on the palate, with gentle mineral undertones, with jasmine and herbal nuances on the nose – being a perfect expression of the terroir in the León region. It is perfect for a wide variety of tapas, especially fish and seafood.
White variety whose cultivation is almost exclusive in Castilla y León. Recently the Ribera del Duero DO has approved it to make white wines. In the Cigales DO, it has been used as a companion grape to Tempranillo and Verdejo to make the famous rosés.
