This one is flavoured with pistachio.
Quaranta is a family nougat maker founded in 1924 in Caravaggio, near Bergamo in Lombardy, not far from Milan, and still works from the recipe of its founder Antonio Quaranta. The company celebrated its centenary in 2024, and is known for its soft torrone, which is lighter and more yielding than the hard, snappy kind.
An easy gift for anyone with a sweet tooth, and a nice thing to put out with coffee over the holidays.
