Surrounded by olive groves near Manresa in D.O. Catalunya, Bodegas Roqueta is run by the 4th generation of the Roqueta family. A refreshing blend of local grape Macabeo and Chardonnay, from the historic, family run Bodegas Roqueta in the Catalonian Pyrenees. The bodega was founded by Ramon Roqueta, who planted vines on ancient olive groves (‘oliveras’) in the foothills of the Catalonian Pyrenees northeast of Barcelona. This area has its own unique microclimate capable of producing very high quality grapes.
A really refreshing, light, aromatic blend of Macabeo and Chardonnay. On the palate it is floral and light, with sweet peach notes and a touch of grapefruit and refreshing citrus on the finish. A delightful easy drinking medium white Catalan wine, full of character.
