This is a  fantastic turron created from a collaboration between 250 year old Agramunt turron maker, Vicens and world famous chef Albert Adria.

Torrons Vicens is a family owned Company based in Urgell’s village of Agramunt (Lleida), known as the origin of the “Torro”(Nougat) and the “Xocolata a la Pedra”(Stone chocolate) and they have been producing Artisanal Nougats or Turrons since 1775 .

During nearly two centuries the Vicens’ Family has been loyal to the production of the artisanal nougat, and specifically to the Agramunt’s nougat.

In 2010 the Company opened it’s first shops in Sitges and La Jonquera and now has more than 30 stores. The Company exports to most countries worldwide and has become a symbol of quality for their customers.

When prestigious pastry chef Albert Adria and Vicens Nougat Master Angel Velasco combined their knowledge the result was the Natura line, inspired by different deserts that Albert Adria made for his famous “El Bulli” Restaurant.

Description

This Mandarin with hazelnut turron is a glorious a fine hazelnut bonbon praline with a fruity mandarin caramel. An exquisite combination of textures and flavours that gives us an enveloping sensation of final freshness on the palate. Accompanied by a dark chocolate coating and garnished with a crunch of caramelized hazelnuts.
