Chilli & Lime is one of Choc Amor’s signature dark chocolates. The lime comes first, bright and zesty from lime oil, and then the heat arrives at the finish from chilli flakes and smoked hot paprika, rounded out with black pepper, nutmeg and a pinch of pink Himalayan salt. It is a proper grown-up chocolate – the warmth builds slowly rather than blowing your head off. This is the 150g gift tub.
Choc Amor was founded in 2012 by chocolatier Paul Williams and his wife Jacqui, starting out in their family kitchen in Yorkshire. Paul approaches chocolate like a chef, pairing it with ingredients most chocolatiers would never go near, and it has won them awards at both the International Chocolate Awards and the Great Taste Awards. They use single-origin Colombian chocolate, bought through partners who work directly with the farmers.
A great stocking filler for chilli lovers, and a good match for a glass of dark rum or mezcal.
