Hawkshead Relish call this your five-a-day in a jar. Oranges, lemons, limes, kumquats and pink grapefruit are cooked together with plenty of peel, giving a very fruity marmalade that is sharper and more complex than a straight orange one. The Grande Couture jar holds 275g.
Obviously one for toast and croissants, but it also makes a good glaze for gammon or duck, and a spoonful lifts a lemon drizzle or a bread and butter pudding. The Italian-style Couture jar makes it an easy gift.
Made by hand in open pans near Esthwaite Water by Hawkshead Relish, who have won more than 60 Great Taste Awards since starting out in 1999.
