Bon Vivant was set up in 1996 in Semur-en-Auxois, in the heart of Burgundy, by a group of people brought together, as they put it, by the simple pleasures of life – good food and good company. They specialise in aperitif biscuits, especially flaky puff-pastry nibbles, made to simple recipes with good ingredients.
Tip them into a bowl with drinks before Christmas lunch, or serve with a glass of Crémant de Bourgogne or a cold beer. A couple of minutes in a hot oven brings back the crispness and the buttery aroma.
Ingredients: wheat flour, butter, maltodextrin, wheat starch, cheddar cheese (5.8%), onion mix, dried red onions (2.4%), cane sugar, sea salt, pasteurised whole egg, potato starch. Contains wheat, milk and egg.
