A collectable tin from Churchill’s, embossed in fine detail with a Victorian fair scene and its big wheel – a nod to George Ferris’s 1893 invention. Inside are 150g of petticoat tails, the traditional round of buttery shortbread scored into wedges, made with just wheat flour, butter (31%), sugar and salt, with no artificial colours, flavourings or preservatives.
Churchill’s Confectionery was founded in 1989 and is based in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. It is known for its detailed, embossed tins and boxes filled with chocolates, sweets and biscuits – London souvenir tins, Art Deco and Victorian designs – and now sells them in more than 30 countries.
