This Vicens turrón cremoso is a smooth almond nougat studded with crunchy caramelised macadamia pieces and a hint of chocolate – rich and sweet, with plenty of contrast in texture. Torrons Vicens, of Agramunt in Lleida, Catalonia, has been making turrón since 1775.
Turrón is the traditional Spanish Christmas sweet. Slice thinly and serve with coffee or dessert wine, or give it as a small gift.
