This light mousse-style Etxenike duck fondant pate is made with free range ducks. The term “fondant” describes it’s luxurious melt-in-the-mouth quality.
Made with tender duck meat this gourmet pate has a smooth, creamy texture thanks to the addition of duck fat and cream. The flavour is rich and decadent with a deep earthy taste from the duck. It has a subtle sweetness from the Port wine and a luxurious mouthfeel. The addition of liver adds a slightly gamey flavour which is mellowed by the cream.
