Manchester 4th October. Vermouth is the on-trend drinks sensation in Spain and rapidly taking hold in the UK and beyond. They have historic vermouth makers and some very modern ones. They couldn’t be further from the industrial sweetened chemicals of Martini and Cinzano. Small batch production by artisans ensures that Spanish vermouth is full of character and totally moreish. This night will be fun and informal and involve a talk about how vermut (Catalan for vermouth) is produced, a guided tasting of 5 vermouths, a vermouth cocktail and matching tapitas to showcase its versatility with food.
