Cornicabra olives are the second most widely grown variety in Spain. They have a dark purple colour and a well-balanced flavour, with a slight bitterness and hints of spice. Their shape is not completely round, with one of their edges ending in a horn-shape, a feature which gives the variety its name.
Some olives may have suffered a discoloration process. This is because this olives have a higher pH than other types of black olives. This also contributes to their great flavour.
These are purple olives. Very black olives are produced by injecting dye into them which our olive producers never would!Product Size 200g
