Outrageously decadent, but great value, too, this is a cured black pudding. with a texture of butter at room temperature, and a rich, smoky flavour, reminiscent of chorizo, this is a black pudding like no other. This variety, made in Extremadura by Senorio de Montanera who also are a producer of some of the finest iberico hams, is made using meat from acorn fed pigs and is cured for a period of 30 days, so that whilst it can be used in many recipes, it can also be eaten uncooked. We recommend slicing it thickly and enjoying it with crusty bread, cornichons and a good red wine. If you taste this, and do not like it, seek psychiatric help!
